Longer Bulb Life
LGM products, based on component manufacturer data, have an expected life of up to 595 weeks of continuous 24/7 operation. This is 15-50 times longer than typical glass bulb grow light life expectations. Replacing traditional glass bulbs every 6-15 months adds a lot to the expense of a growing system.
No Ballast
Fluorescent tubes and metallic vapor lamps all need a ballast to operate, and ballasts eventually burn out and must be replaced. LGMlighting products do not use a ballast, eliminating this additional recurring cost from your growing system.
No Reflector
Traditional glass grow lights are generally fitted with bulky, unattractive reflectors to direct light back toward the plants. LGM grow lights have the reflectors built right into the LEDs All of the light generated by the LEDs is directed straight at your plants.
Less Energy Use
Conventional grow lights consume between 100 watts and 1,000 watts of electricity to operate. LGM grow lights use less electricity than a small reading light. This energy savings becomes more and more important as energy costs continue to rise. On average,LGM grow lights use 33-times less energy than comparable metallic vapor lights The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) estimates that every Kilowatt of energy produces 1.5 lbs of carbon dioxide (CO2). Less Heat
LGM lights operate with minimal wasted heat energy. In fact they are only slightly warm to the touch. Traditional grow lights are typically very hot. The radiated heat from most glass grow lights will quickly fill the room with hot air often requiring fans and air conditioning to remove, adding to the cost of growing, and fire risk. In addition, most plants shut down when it gets too hot to avoid losing more water than they can bring up from their roots. With LGM lights your plants are never heat stressed, allowing them to grow at their maximum rate.
Targeted Light Output

Safe Low Voltage at the Light
